What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a worldwide outdoor treasure hunting game where participants use GPS or a smartphone to find hidden containers called “geocaches.” These caches are tucked away in parks, cities, forests, and hiking trails, anywhere adventure calls. Each geocache usually includes a logbook to sign and sometimes small trinkets to trade.

With over 3 million active geocaches in nearly every country, geocaching is a fun way to explore the outdoors, discover new places, and connect with a global community of adventurers.
